MY FIRST 5 MONTHS OF MIDDLE SCHOOL

Moving to Middle School from Elementary School is definitely one big step for me. You have more responsibility and independence. In middle school you have to be responsible for being on time for class and also responsible for lots of other things. We start having lockers and more organization things which is a bit hard to take care off. Once in a while I will be cleaning up my locker but the next day it will be messed all over again. In middle school we also have SLR's and my favorite SLR that I use everyday is "Reason Critically". Whenever I do any classwork I would reason critically. There is also more choices in middle school. You get to choose some of your classes, there is a wide variety of food to choose from and you get your own free time during Lunch time. We also have more after school activities which I really wish to sign up for but I didn't get the chance to. We also start having homegroup which I think is quite fun. We get to interact with other 6th, 7th and 8th graders. There is also community service which is really interesting. You get to help pets and other people. It is one of the things that is really fun to take part of. Humanities is also one of the new things that I have for my classes. Humanities is Social Studies and English. We have humanities everyday and I think it is one of the most fun classes. Social Studies and English mixed together is really cool. Overall I really enjoy 6th Grade and I have grown more mature especially on organization and responsibility.
